Re: Whatever happened to 'The Planet Man' |
I wondered about that myself. I went to download a couple episodes today, and couldn't find them anywhere.
When will you get some episodes uploaded to your site?

Re: Whatever happened to 'The Planet Man' |
All known episodes are on my Multiply page, here. . .
http://ko6bb.multiply.com/ Look in the "Download Radio Shows" section. So far as I've been able to determine, there aren't any copyright issues. or I wouldn't have it up there.
You will need to either "stream" the program and save the individual files from media player, or use a download program like "Orbit" to get them.

Re: Whatever happened to 'The Planet Man' |
The problem was that a dealer claimed copyright of a text file that we used as the basis for our audio file. We originally had permission from the author to use the file, but the dealer has 'issues' with OTRR distributing old time radio free, so he 'claimed' copyright of the series.
To avoid any problems, we removed the audio file in question, created a new audio file, and reuploaded the series, with some new artwork.
Two additional series we posted also were 'claimed' under copyright protection. In both cases the person does not have a copyright on either series. Their only claim is the restored sound they did in CDA.
It is the offical policy of OTRR to never violate a valid copyright. In cases where we do post copyrighted series, we have permission from the copyright holder. Some have granted permission to use materials, only to withdraw it because OTRR would not agree to terms submitted later.
